About the Tour
The Middle East of one of the most historically rich and politically charged areas of the entire world. It is where 3 major religions claim their roots and revere its historical significance. We have recently begun humanitarian and service activities in Bethlehem and other areas in Israel. This tour includes service activities in Bethlehem including business development considerations as well as visits to historical sites in Jerusalem. Add on post-tour extensive touring of the entire country and region is also available. This is also as an optional add-on for participants of the Egypt Service Tour.
Continued work at the SOS Orphanage in Bethlehem. We will also host a BDC (Business Development Conference) in an effort to train and encourage economic growth in the area. Our ultimate goal is to ‘create jobs’ through entrepreneurship as well as potential micro-franchising. Below is a tentative itinerary.
DAY 1-2 (Sat & Sun Apr 5-6th): FLY USA to TEL AVIV
Today we fly from the USA to Tel Aviv, Israel. When we arrive we will go directly to the Mount of Olives for a view of ‘The Golden City’. We will cross through the 20’ cement wall and into Palestinian territory and overnight in Bethlehem.
Day 3—6 (Mon–Thurs Apr 7—10th): SERVICE ACTIVITIES in BETHLEHEM!
We will spend this week serving the locals living in Bethlehem. Our days will begin with an organic breakfast prepared by our Guest House Hostess. Some of our service efforts include working with the SOS Orphanage, the Old Folks Home as well as helping with Business Development efforts. We began work at the SOS Orphanage in December and look forward to continuing to build and restore the outside of their facility as well as interacting with the children. We will enjoy certain special meals in the homes of local Palestinian families and get an up-close look at real life in Bethlehem. We plan also to sponsor a Business Development Conference in an effort to boost the local economy by educating, training, and implementing some business franchises. In the evenings we will enjoy visiting some of the local sites and cuisine.
